- Information about alpaca & new wool: The exclusive natural fiber is silky, shiny, heat balancing, particularly light, very soft, elastic, resistant, dirt and odor repellent, particularly easy to care for and does not pilling. Pure new wool always comes from shearing live sheep. It is elastic, retains its shape and does not crease. The yarn is highly insulating and can absorb up to 33% of its own weight in moisture without feeling damp.
